STOCKPORT COUNTY YOUTH 6 FC UNITED of MANCHESTER YOUTH 0

A tired looking FC United of Manchester Youth team slumped to a heavy 6-0 defeat in their final National League u19 Alliance ’J’ Division away league fixture of the season on Wednesday afternoon against Stockport County Youth at Cheadle Sports Club.

After a goalless first half, the Young Reds went close to opening the scoring on 56 minutes when Abdul Muktadir was denied by the home ’keeper.

But the floodgates opened at the other end after Stockport had taken the lead on 61 minutes when substitute JOSH SMITH netted from the edge of the six yard area.

On 64 minutes, keeper Mason Walker failed to adequately deal with a goalbound effort, and County’s TAH-KI TUCKER was on hand to score from the rebound,

On 79 minutes, JOSH SMITH collected a loose ball before scoring to make it 3-0.

A minute later, a MICHAEL GASKELL effort found the back of the net to put Stockport four goals up.

JOSH SMITH completed his hat-trick on 84 minutes to make it five-nil, and there was still time for MAX GREENHALGH to power home a long range effort on 88 minutes to deservedly make the final score 6-0.
