FC United of Manchester Youth went down by two goals to nil against Stockport County Youth on Friday afternoon in their opening season 2020-21 pre-season friendly on the Broadhurst Park 3G.

The difference in finishing was the deciding factor.

Stockport County took the lead on 20 minutes through the livewire LUKE JACKSON before adding a second from outside the area with 11 minutes remaining.

FC United went close on a number of occasions but couldn’t find a way past Stockport ’keeper Michael Brennan.
