FC United of Manchester Youth went down 5-1 against top-of-the-table Stockport County Youth in Wednesday afternoon’s National League u19 Alliance Division ’H’ fixture switched to the Seashell Trust ground in Cheadle Hulme.

The home side opened the scoring after just 10 minutes when DAVID EDWARDS headed home from a corner.

On 14 minutes, Stockport County went 2-0 up when ABDUL NASSRAT converted from the penalty spot after a trip in the box.

On 24 minutes it was 3-0 when CAMERON HARGREAVES advanced into the area and his shot was deflected over Lenny Fieldhouse in the FC United goal.

On 37 minutes, it was 4-0 to the Young Hatters as KIERAN MORRISSEY converted a low cross from the left at the far post.

Home substitute MATTHEW KNOTT made it 5-0 with a right footed finish on 74 minutes before FC United grabbed an 89th minute consolation with a header from a corner scored by CONNOR MELLING.

FC United of Manchester Youth are back in action on Wednesday 12th February 2020 when they host Stalybridge Celtic Youth (Broadhurst Park 3G - KO 2.00 p.m.)
