Donations still coming as you help raise more than £13,000

We’re delighted to report that – despite Saturday’s fundraising friendly being cancelled due to a frozen pitch – you have so far donated an incredible £13,000 in less than 48 hours. Thank you for your amazing support. There’s still time to donate if you’d like to.

In an extraordinary weekend, our co-owners, supporters, staff and players have once again gone above and beyond by demonstrating your unwavering love, stewardship and financial support for this thing of ours – our co-operative, fan-owned, community football club. 

You bought more than 1,000 Pound for the Ground (PftG) tickets, and over 400 virtual match tickets, whilst also donating hundreds of pounds in cash, to raise more than £9,000. Meanwhile, our staff and players made the tremendous gesture of donating approximately £4,000 in wages between them. One player even donated an additional £500 to the club!

We cannot thank you all enough. Words alone can barely do it justice. To have supporters, players and staff all pulling together in the same direction and contributing your hard-earned cash to help our club get through three cancelled Saturday home games is absolutely magnificent. 

If you haven’t already donated, there’s still time. Please do consider giving whatever you can afford by buying a Virtual Match Ticket and/or a Virtual Pound for the Ground ticket, before the draw is made on Tuesday afternoon where the winner will recieve up to £200.  

Lost revenue
Whilst £13,000 is an amazing amount to raise at such short notice, and we’re extremely grateful to everyone who has so far donated, it is still a long way short of covering the cost of lost revenue from three cancelled Saturday home matches.  

With this in mind, if you haven’t already done so, we ask all supporters to consider donating whatever you can afford. Can we reach £15,000 in the next 48 hours? Thank you!
