Vote for FC United's goal of the season

Supporters can now choose FC United’s goal of the season by watching a video of six of the best and casting their vote.

At the moment, Jake Cottrell’s pile-driver against Rochdale in the FA Cup first round proper is leading the way with around 50% of the vote but the ’delicate’ 100+ yard hoof by goalkeeper Sam Ashton at Retford is closing the gap whilst Colin Little’s debut lob in the home fixture against Retford is coming third.

Also battling for votes is James Holden’s 25 yard volley against Whitby, Jerome Wright’s screamer against Burscough and Cottrell’s 40 yard chip which also came in the 5-1 rout of Retford at Gigg Lane.

The video and vote has been produced by FC United supporter Yury Veretenko, who follows the Reds from Ukraine. Yury said: "With the help of FCUM.TV, I try to make a video of our best goals every year. Let’s hope, FC United will give me a headache every season with which six goals I should select for the voting."

You can watch the video and vote now.
