Celebrate with the players

Saturday promises to be a busy day for the last match of the season at home to Matlock Town. As well as Youth United Day there will be a "Double Vision" with the United V Spurs game on the telly before FC’s game in the small bar area in the Social Club, Starkies and the Mainstand Inn.

There will be no Course You Can Malcolm on Saturday due to the expected entertainment being unavailable. However Starkies will be open via the MRE turnstiles at the usual time selling the usual beers and some soup with French bread. The telly will be on to show the United/Tottenham game and at half-time and full time of this match James Quinn and Marvin Cheeseman will be providing a spot of poetry. Starkies will also be open during half-time of the FC United game.

It will also obviously be shown in all the pubs local to Gigg Lane, so get there early if you want to watch both games.

A presentation after the game will be made to the FC United Youth Team. So please stay in your seats to support the youth of the club before running for the pub.

After the Matlock game the traditional end of season celebration will take place in the Swan & Cemetery Pub when all supporters are invited to join Margy, Roy, Darren and the players for a drink or two.
