FC United of Manchester is a community football club owned and democratically run by its
members. Its corporate structure is a Community Benefit Society and membership is open to all, with everyone an equal co-owner, holding one voting share in the club.
On a warm glorious day in Nuneaton, FC United ran out 4-1 victors in their final away game of the 2016-17 season with goals from Sam Sheridan, Jordan Fagbola, Matthew Wolfenden, and George Thomson. Click here for more info.
Over the past five years increasing numbers of people in our city have experienced unemployment. At FC United, we are very proud of the adult education programmes we have delivered mainly to people who are unemployed which have provided accredited training combined with volunteering experience and have helped many people get back into the labour market and find work. We are particularly indebted to the Manchester College with whom we have worked to develop a range of effective courses. Unfortunately the funding from the college has now ceased and we are looking at new creative ways of engaging adults in accredited courses from our base at Broadhurst Park and across North Manchester. As soon as any further information becomes available we will share it via the website.
