This Week's Radio News...
This week dear listener it’s time to focus back on the things that matter, football, music and finally getting someone to fix that dodgy light bulb down near the coffee machine in accounts, it’s like strobe central down there.
For football, we have it all covered this week and we also have last week covered too. In a jam packed This Club Is My Club we have the views from FC General Manager Andy Walsh on the Chorley saga and an update on Moston. On the pitch, FC Live is back in force on Wednesday to cover the game against Nantwich Town, whilst on Saturday, the FA Cup is back on the agenda as FC take on Woodley Sports.
For music, well its FCUM Radio isn’t it, the music this week is bound to be brilliant and indeed it is. A highlight in particular which deserves a mention comes from Stevie D and Doh on The Show With No Name, who are awfully excited this week about The Ramsbottom Festival, so they have a full preview this week. Not only that, they’ve interviewed their first celebrity, Adam Gorman from The Travelling Band, oooo fancy.
On the subject of celebrity, it would be rude of this newsletter to not mention the fact that FCUM Radio’s very own Steven, Steven, Steven, Steven Wood appeared on Eggheads last week, well played Sir. But here at FCUM Radio Towers we were appalled at the smugness of The Eggheads during this half hour quizzing bloodbath. So to even the scores in more ways than one, The Shindig Breakfast Show are doing an Eggheads Special this week, and it is seriously one not to miss.
And while we’re on the subject of our shows here on your station, just a reminder, that all of our volunteer DJs and presenters can be contacted via email and love reading what you have to say. So help yourselves and please tune in when you can, http://www.fcumradio.co.uk/djsshows/the-voices/
