As the season draws to an end, it’s that time of the year to say a collective thank you to the FC volunteers for all their hard work put in throughout this season.
We have a team of around 150 matchday volunteers busy working away, before, during and after the match, plus on non-match days many more work behind the scenes helping our club during the week in various other different roles. All together UNITED in keeping FC UNITED running.
Everyone involved does so for the good of our Club, some spending countless hours of their time with no other reward than knowing they make a difference in the huge mechanics of keeping the Club running smoothly and making everyone’s club a better place to be.
Some have been here since day one and some maybe recently new additions to the Club’s volunteers list.
We thank every single one of you for your magnificent efforts during this 2017-18 season and look forward to working together in the summer and during the 2018-19 season.
Together we are Football and Fans United.
New volunteers are always welcome and there is no greater feeling of being a co-owner than helping out in anyway you can. Any supporter who would like to join the matchday volunteer team next season can visit the cabin before the North Ferriby United match this Saturday and ask questions about the various roles available. We will also update supporters at the start of the new 2018-19 season for anyone interested in volunteering.
In other news, as part of the ‘Own a Piece of FC History’ 2014-15 NPL Championship Shirt DF fundraiser, one of the shirts (Blue number 9) was kept back for a free raffle to anyone who volunteered this season. The raffle has been drawn and the winning volunteer was Mark Barnes from the Pound For The Ground- Half Time Draw team! Congratulations Mark!
Once again, thank you to each and everyone of you from this 2017-18 season.
