Gullivers on Oldham Street, central Manchester, are hosting an FC fundraiser on Saturday 11th December.
From 8 till late it’s a fiver on the door to see a handful of acts including classic Clash, punk and ska covers from CHEAPSKATES, plus SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE FROM ATTILA THE STOCKBROKER (ranting poet/musician celebrating his 30th year of performing, and he just happens to be the announcer at Brighton and Hove Albion’s home games!)
Also, there will be a solo performance from the uniquely talented LOUIS BARRABAS--- THE ONE, THE ONLY, SICKNURSE--- skuzzy rock n roll from JACKIE O --- from the remains of Doktormandrake and Mister International & The Getaway Gang we have a band to watch, they are THE SAN JUAN BOUNDARY DISPUTE.. The night is also celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of the CLASH’S SANDINISTA triple album, we’ll be playing tunes from and linked to the album and there’ll be a few interesting covers from the bands!
What more could you want; cheap entrance, brilliant bands, ace tunes, good beer at a great little venue...limited capacity so please get there early, cheers..
