It’s that time of year again when FC United’s highly trained athletes (and some less so!) take to the Manchester streets to raise funds for the club’s activities in the Great Manchester 10k run. This year, they may be battling through wind and rain or risking sunburn and heat exhaustion - depending on which forecast you believe!
They would like your support - your vocal support around the course to cheer them on and/or your financial support to reward their physical efforts on Sunday 18th May 2014.
If you can sponsor one or more of them, please visit their fundraising site as detailed below (as more runners get their act together to set up their site, they will be added to the list).

It’s a great event so get along and support our runners on the day if you can. They will all be running in FC shirts and most will be setting off in the White Wave which starts at 10.55 am. For those that can’t make it the Run will be shown live on BBC2 from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm with highlights at 6.00 pm. The runners will be meeting up afterwards in Great Northern Square, off Peter Street if you want to join them.
In previous years blood, sweat and tears have all been shed on the way round and this year the runners are raising funds for the Club and the Development Fund in our final push to get the ground in Moston finished and ready to open later in the year. Please sponsor a runner if you can or if you would prefer then please sponsor the whole group of “FC 23ers???.
