Development Fund Update - 12th April 2017

We are pleased to announce that the Development Fund (DF) has now raised £94,748 this Financial Year - The DF raised £3,793 in the period between 5th April to 12th April - We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has made a donation.

We are pleased to announce that the Development Fund (DF) has now raised £94,748 this Financial Year - The DF raised £3,793 in the period between 5th April to 12th April. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has made a donation.

The DF was established to allocate funds to be used specifically for the build and development of our own football ground. Between 2007 and 2016, we raised £1,139,441 - a fantastic achievement that is a testament to the passion, dedication and generosity of FC United supporters. The money raised between 2007 and 2016 was used to help build and develop our new ground at Broadhurst Park.

There are still areas of the ground that need to be developed further. We have set a fundraising target for this season of £300,000 to help us specifically develop the area under the St. Mary’s Road Stand, complete the build of the two ends of the Main Stand and allow us to meet the obligations of community shares and loans from the initial build.

In the period 5th April to 12th April the money raised was:

DF Donations: £1,465

PFTG/ Barrels: £0

DF Holiday Club: £120

DF Fundraising Initiatives/Events: £2,208

TOTAL: £3,793

The amounts from invoices that have been raised for the Supporters Dinners & Gala Dinner tables have been included.

The total money raised between 1st July 2016 and 5th April 2017 is:

PFTG / Barrels: £19,041

DF Holiday Club: £18,640

DF Fundraising Initiatives/Events: £11,504

TOTAL: £94,748

MATCHDAYS

There are a number of ways that you can contribute to the DF at all our home matches at Broadhurst Park. At our next home game against Brackley on Saturday 15th April, please consider

DF Turnstile Number 4
Turnstile 4 at the St. Mary’s Road End is a designated DF turnstile, which allows supporters to donate money in addition to the normal admission price. The DF Turnstile accepts Adults, Concessions, Juniors entering with ST’s/LMTB’s or cash.

Pound for the Ground Tickets (PFTG)
Look out for a PFTG ticket sellers at our home matches. For just £1 per ticket, you will be entered into a draw, to be drawn at half time, where the winners win £200, the runner up wins £50 and for the 3rd prize winner a fudge hamper.

Barrels
Look out of the big collection barrels located at various places throughout the ground to deposit your loose change (or notes). Stand A Pint collection pots are in both the Main Stand and SMRE bars. We also accept foreign currency. click here to see what has been raised so far.

DONATING ONLINE

One-off Donation
Making a donation via the FC United website is really easy. On the home page you will see the DF Totaliser. Beneath it are number of donation amounts. By clicking on the amount you wish to donate you will be directed to a GoCardless page where you are asked to enter your contact details and bank sort code and account number. Click continue to complete your donation

Standing Order or increase an existing one
You can set up a standing order to allow you to donate on a regular basis via http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/development-fund

By clicking on the amount you want to donate on a monthly basis you will be directed to a GoCardless page where you are asked to enter your contact details and bank sort code and account number. Click continue to complete the set up your standing order.

BUY A BRICK AT BROADHURST PARK

For just £45 each you can have an engraved brick to show your support for the club by being a permanent fixture at Broadhurst Park. Your brick can carry a personal message to you or a friend or relation or just have your name. All we ask is that each brick contains two lines of up to 16 available characters including spaces, punctuation etc on each line.

As well as the brick in our special supporters’ wall at Broadhurst Park, all buyers will receive a commemorative certificate showing their brick and message.
