Candidate statement AGM 2024:

I am excited to stand for election as a board member at FC United of Manchester, having proudly served on the board for the past 18 months as a co-opted member. My time in this role has only deepened my passion for the club and the impact the club provides to so many young lives. I would be honoured to continue contributing to its success and growth.

With extensive commercial experience in product management and marketing, I have led teams to develop effective strategies, engage audiences, and drive growth. This background has equipped me to support the club’s commercial efforts, helping FC United expand its reach and strengthen its financial stability.

In addition to my professional expertise, I bring a solid track record as a co-opted board member, providing valuable insights and a fresh perspective. I am dedicated to fostering inclusivity and diversity within our club, in line with FC United’s mission to make football accessible to all. As a female British Asian, I am passionate about representing underrepresented voices and ensuring our community feels welcome, valued, and involved.

I look forward to the opportunity to continue working alongside fellow board members to advance FC United’s vision, engage more supporters, and promote our values both on and off the pitch.
