Come and have your Blood pressure check with us!
FC United of Manchester is delighted to announce the return of our Know Your Numbers campaign for the 2026/27 season, continuing our commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of our fans and local community.
Following the positive response to last season's campaign, we are increasing the number of free blood pressure check sessions available at men's first-team home fixtures from three to six sessions throughout the season.
High blood pressure is often known as the "silent killer" because many people do not experience symptoms, yet it can significantly increase the risk of heart disease, stroke and other serious health conditions. By offering free and accessible blood pressure checks at FC United, we hope to make it easier for supporters and local residents to understand their health and take positive steps towards a healthier future.
Last season, many supporters took advantage of the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked. The sessions helped people gain a better understanding of what their blood pressure numbers mean, why they matter, and how lifestyle changes such as increasing physical activity, improving diet, reducing stress, and stopping smoking can help improve long-term health outcomes.
This season's Know Your Numbers sessions will take place at the following men's home fixtures:
We are proud to deliver this initiative in partnership with Morrisso Health CIC, whose experienced health practitioners will be on hand to carry out the checks, explain the results, and offer advice and support where appropriate.
As a community club, FC United believes that football can play an important role in improving health and wellbeing. By bringing these services directly into a familiar and trusted environment, we hope to encourage more people to take a few minutes to check their blood pressure and start important conversations about their health.
The blood pressure checks are just one part of the health and wellbeing support available through our partnership with Morrisso Health. The organisation delivers a range of community-based health sessions and wellbeing activities at FC United throughout the year.
