Morrisso Health is a local community organisation committed to improving health and wellbeing across Greater Manchester. Their aim is to make physical activity accessible, inclusive, and supportive — particularly for adults who may feel that traditional fitness environments are not right for them.
Founded in North Manchester, Morrisso Health works closely with local communities to improve access to physical activity through non‑medical, community‑based wellbeing sessions.
Morrisso Health offers a weekly programme of supportive adult physical activity sessions, designed to help people gradually and confidently increase their levels of movement in a safe and welcoming environment. Sessions support both physical and mental wellbeing, focusing on improving mobility, strength, cardiovascular fitness, and confidence.
Weekly Session Timetable:
Monday | 10:00 – 11:00
Seated Exercise Session
A gentle, low‑impact session suitable for those with limited mobility, long‑term health conditions, or anyone seeking a supportive re‑introduction to physical activity.
Tuesday | 2:30 – 3:30pm
Cardio Session
A supportive cardiovascular workout aimed at improving heart health and stamina, with modifications available to suit different abilities.
Wednesday | 1:30 – 2:30pm
Strength‑Based Session
Focuses on building strength, balance, and functional movement to support everyday activities and long‑term physical health.
Friday | 11:00 – 12:00
Men’s Only Session
A welcoming and informal space for men to improve fitness, build confidence, and connect with others through physical activity.
All sessions are delivered in a relaxed and encouraging environment, with instructors providing individual guidance, motivation, and adaptations to ensure participants feel comfortable and supported at all times.
