FC United of Manchester Youth played out a 0-0 draw against AFC Fylde Youth on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Thursday afternoon in their latest pre-season fixture.
Abdul Muktadir and Temi Oropo came closest for the Young Reds in the first half but couldn’t quite find a way past in form AFC Fylde ’keeper Kasper Poltarek and although FC’s Jacobe Anderson did manage to find the back of the net on 59 minutes, his close range effort was chalked off for offside.
Substitute ’keeper Matthew Crosby pulled off a fine save from a visiting forward to keep the score at 0-0 in the dying minutes.
