FC United of Manchester Youth team recorded a narrow 2-1 home win against Rochdale AFC EDC u19s in their latest National League u19 Alliance 'H' Division league fixture on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Wednesday afternoon.

AARON HUGHES opened the scoring for the Young Reds in the second minute with a curling shot into the top corner of the visitors' net past the helpless Jake Beesley

TOBY HUMPHRIES then added a second on 28 minutes with a low shot into the corner.

HARRY McLEOD pulled one back for the visitors on 79 minutes, but, apart from a couple of late scares, FC United held on for the win.
