FC United of Manchester Youth team let slip a two goal lead as they went down to a 2-4 away defeat against Chorley FC u19s at the West Way Sports Hub ground in Wednesday's latest National League u19 Alliance Division 'H' fixture.
Things had started well for the Young Reds as they took an 11th minute lead through YANN DARYL TCHOKOTCHEU courtesy of an Aaron Hughes pass.
On 20 minutes, it was 2-0, the same player, YANN DARYL TCHOKOTCHEU finishing at the far post, Arlo Buller the assist provider.
The home side then started to rally. Sullivan Barker went close on 35 minutes before SAM DAWSON found the net on 38 minutes with a fierce finish past Josh Brooks.
Worse was to follow when Chorley drew level on 41 minutes, a dipping shot from distance by JAK LATHAM to make it 2-2.
FC United substitute Andy Uduebor had a goalbound effort saved by Chorley 'keeper Max Woolham on 66 minutes.
That was as near as the visitors got.
On 87 minutes, a shot from Chorley's SULLIVAN BARKER rolled agonisingly wide of Josh Brooks and in off the post to put the Young Magpies in front.
And CALLUM McHALE added another on 90 minutes to make sure of the final result.
