Match Day - Turnstiles

Turnstiles are an essential match day function of Broadhurst Park and we are very proud of the fact that in 8 years of running our own ground we have never had to pay an expense to run our turnstiles – this is of course due to our amazing band of volunteers.

We’re looking to expand this group and attract new people into the role to give it a try. It really can be a fun, fast-paced way to support your football club and strengthen our match day operations. There is no expectation that you will volunteer for every match day, and you will be finished in time for kick-off.

Here’s what a couple of our current volunteers say about volunteering on the turnstiles at Broadhurst Park:

Neil: “I volunteer at FC because I enjoy people. I like meeting people and at FC it's feels you are one of the family.”

Pat:  “"What I like about volunteering on turnstiles is meeting fans as they arrive and often having a bit of banter with them.  It's a good feeling to be able to welcome visiting fans to our ground and be their first point of contact with our club. Also, the duties finish at kick-off, so you don't miss any of the match!"

You will be given full training, and for your first game we will try and put you on the all-ticket turnstile to ease you into the role.
