Board profile – Tony Hennon

Tony joined the board in September 2024 – filling the casual vacancy created by the resignation of Matthew Haley in July.

Tony is an experienced leader in housing management, community partnerships, and well-being initiatives, recently retiring after a distinguished career at Places for People Housing and Johnnie Johnson Housing Trust. His extensive background includes successfully delivering community investment programs, securing external funding for sustainable projects, and leading teams to achieve high performance in challenging environments. Tony is currently a board member at Collyhurst and Moston Boxing Club and has a strong history of community leadership, including serving as Chair of the Cheshire East Crime Prevention Panel.
