Our home fixture against Warrington Town on Saturday 12 September is set to look and sound a little different as FCUM’s Youth Takeover Day returns to Broadhurst Park.
We’re excited to welcome young members of the FC United community who will be running the show for the day. Expect new voices on the PA and junior volunteers pitching in behind the scenes across the ground. Whether it’s supporting the Kit Team, shadowing the club photographer or presenting the Man of the Match presentation, our youth community is taking the reins.
We’re putting this faith in our young people because we believe in them, and because the energy and imagination help make this club what it is.
Half-time parade:
Half-time will feature a Community Parade, with a number of community clubs and organisations taking to the pitch to be recognised for the work they do in our community.
Some of the organisations set to feature include: Moston Juniors FC, Collyhurst JFC, Medicare Foundation and many more!
As they take their lap of honour, we want Broadhurst Park to be loud! Please join us in celebrating these organisations by making some noise for these important members of our community.
Our new U16 girls team will also be joining the parade
Youth Takeover Day will also be the moment we introduce FC United's our new U16s girls team to the fans. This is another step forward for girls' football at the club, and a proud one - please join us in giving them a warm welcome.
Come down, back our young people, and help us show why We Are Stronger United.
Kick off against Warrington Town at Broadhurst Park is 3pm on Saturday 12 September and you can purchase your tickets by clicking here
