We were delighted to feature in the music video for Westside Cowboy's new single 'Kick Stones (The Boys)'
The four-piece met at the University of Manchester in 2023, with the band consisting of Jimmy Bradbury, Aoife Anson O'Connell, Reuben Haycocks and Paddy Murphy. After making a name for themselves with the release of debut single 'I've Never Met Anyone I Thought I Could Really Love (Until I Met You)' in 2024, they reached new heights in 2025 after beating thousands of artists to win the Glastonbury Festival's Emerging Talent Competition - securing themselves a slot in the line-up at last year's festival. They capped off last summer with the release of debut EP 'This Better Be Something Great', and followed it up in January this year with 'So Much Country 'Till We Get There'.
The band got in touch with us a couple of months ago asking about the possibility of coming down to a match to do some filming, and we were delighted to welcome them along to our fixture against Hyde United last month.
That footage, featuring players, volunteers and supporters, became the video for 'Kick Stones (The Boys)', the first single from the band's hotly-anticipated debut album 'It Goes On', to be released in August.
The video is a remarkable snapshot of a day out at Broadhurst Park, and in our expert opinion, we think 'Kick Stones (The Boys)' is going to be one of the sounds of this summer.
We'd like to thank Westside Cowboy and their crew for coming down and allowing the club to be a part of their journey.
'Kick Stones (The Boys)' is out now, available to listen on all good streaming services.
Their debut album 'It Goes On' will be released on August 21st. You can pre-order via the band's website here: Westside Cowboy | Official Site
