Welcome to (FC United of) Manchester

FC United has recreated an infamous poster with a cheeky twist - to catch the attention of football supporters as it enters its 20th season.

Eagle-eyed supporters on their commute into Manchester today (Friday) will have spotted a familiar billboard with a cheeky twist.

For FC United of Manchester has recreated the infamous poster used by Manchester City when the club signed Carlos Tevez following his stint with Manchester United.

Then when United re-signed Cristiano Ronaldo - from under the blue noses of City - Sport Bible again used the design, this time in red welcoming Ronaldo to Manchester.

Now supporter-owned FC United of Manchester has displayed the familiar theme to promote unmissable non-league football at its Broadhurst Park ground in Moston, featuring FC’s Dontai Gabidon in the arms-outstretched pose.

The giant digital image was on shown on a billboard on Ashton Old Road close to its junction with Alan Turing Way and Pottery Lane.

It was designed by The Behaviours Agency, which is currently working with the non-league club to reinforce its supporter-ownership campaigning stance as it enters its 20th season.

The agency has provided its services to the club for free and has also secured the billboard spot at no cost to the club.

Thanks to The Behaviours Agency for their brilliant support! We hope the billboard might run again on other dates so keep an eye out.
