Wanted: FC United Her Game Too Ambassador

In its continual drive for equality and inclusivity in football, the club partnered with the organisation back in 2022, announcing the collaboration ahead of a competitive women’s fixture taking place at Broadhurst Park.

As part of the partnership, the club will work alongside the movement to help stamp out sexist abuse and create a welcoming atmosphere for women at both home and away matches.

Her Game Too, which was founded by 12 female football fans, is committed to helping foster an ethos in the game in which women are respected equally.

With FC United of Manchester now looking for a passionate female football fan to represent the club, it could be the perfect opportunity for you to get involved.

The ideal ambassador should:

• Regularly attend home fixtures (away games are a bonus!)
• Help to establish the partnership with the club
• Where possible, arrange a date for a check in every two or three months with the CEO
• Help with club-specific ideas for ongoing partnerships
• Attend any Her Game Too events or dedicated fixtures
• Connect and have regular contact with the female supporter base
• Report back regularly on matchday experience for women at FC United of Manchester
• Have a social media presence as a Her Game Too club ambassador
• Be a point of contact for other fans experiencing sexism at their club
• Regularly report back to the Her Game Too team about how the club is doing and voice any questions or queries
