The end of the football season hasn’t seen our team of volunteers put their feet up as we start to tackle numerous jobs around Broadhurst Park over the summer.
Terry very kindly volunteered his time to give reception a refresh with a lick of paint to ensure those first impressions are looking at their best. Whilst John and Babs came in to give the community changing rooms a much-needed spruce up.
Alex and George came in last week to drop off season ticket flyers in Moston and Harpurhey; spreading the word of our season ticket campaign to the local community.
Many thanks to Pete, John, Martin, Bob and Macc who came in and provided a huge help on fixing the exterior fences around the grass pitch used by Moston Juniors.
We’re only just getting going and we need more help:
- We’re looking to step up our local leafletting campaign and any help would be greatly appreciated in the coming weeks.
- We still have many jobs to complete around the ground over summer and we need FC plasterers and painters to help out and get Broadhurst Park looking it’s best.
- Are you a keen artist who is looking for their next project? Why not come in and decorate the DF barrels to give them a fresh look ready for next season’s donations.
