FC United of Manchester Community is looking for volunteers with experience, interest, or enthusiasm in the following areas:
Volunteer Bid Writer
Help us secure funding to grow our impact within the community.
Key activities:
- Research funding opportunities
- Support the writing and submission of community and capital grant applications
- Work with staff and volunteers to gather project information
- Help demonstrate the impact of our community programmes
Ideal for someone with:
- Strong writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience of fundraising or bid writing (desirable but not essential)
Volunteer Social Media & Communications Support
Help us tell the story of our community work and engage more people with our programmes.
Key activities:
- Create and schedule social media content
- Promote community events and activities
- Capture and share success stories
- Support communication and engagement with local communities
Ideal for someone with:
- Good communication skills
- Experience using social media platforms
- Creativity and enthusiasm for community storytelling
