Vinsky FC away Fenix Trophy: date and details announced

We are pleased to announce the details for our final Group C fixture in this season's Fenix Trophy which will take place on Wednesday 10th April 2024, with a kick off time of 4pm CEST, 3pm BST at the Complexe Sportif Firmin Riffaud in Magnanville (full address below).
 
We thank supporters for their patience as we’ve worked through a set of challenges with our host’s ground availability and our need for affordable flights. We are delighted to have found a solution that works for both of our requirements, as the earlier kick off time allows our team to catch the late evening flight home. The match is also during the Easter school holidays which opens up the option to junior supporters to attend.

Stadium facilities: There are no seated areas in the stadium. If any supporter considers themselves unable to stand for the duration of the match please email adrian.seddon@fc-utd.uk and we'll try and arrange a chair with our hosts. There is enclosed, flat concreated spectator standing all around the sides of the ground, so there is sufficient capacity for our needs, but all sides are uncovered. Please check the match arrangements story on our website in the week before the match where we'll be able to give you further details including food & drink options in the stadium, whether it is cash only or card, and any merchandise which may be available.
 
Location: Magnanville is a small town 50km from Paris. It can be reached by hire car in 1 hour and 15 minutes by road or by public transport in just over an hour. There are regular trains from Saint-Lazare station in central Paris to Mantes La Jolie station taking 35 minutes. From there it is a 10 minute bus ride to Magnanville with buses running every 20 minutes. The last train back to Paris after the match is currently showing as 22.00 but you are strongly advised to make all necessary checks nearer the date. Flights: Ryanair: 2 flights a day from Manchester to Paris Beauvais. Please note that Beauvais is a significant distance to the north from Paris. If travelling by public transport, you will need to catch the airport coach transfer into central Paris (approx. 90 minutes traffic dependent), then onward to Magnanville so please allow plenty of time. By hire car it takes approximately 85 minutes to drive.

Air France: several flights daily from Manchester to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.
