A Living, Breathing Protest
For over two decades, FC United of Manchester has stood as a living, breathing protest against the Glazer ownership of Manchester United. Built by fans, for fans, we've never wavered from what matters most: affordability, atmosphere, and putting supporters ahead of shareholders.
We were born out of anger at the Glazers' takeover, and that founding spirit hasn't faded. We’ve never forgotten where we came from - FC United remains a home for Reds from every background who believe football exists for the people who watch it, not for those who see it purely as a business.
Why United United Day Matters
Every year, we open our doors wide and say: come and stand with us. United United Day is a focal point for bringing Reds together – wherever you watch your football week to week and however many times you might have been to Broadhurst Park - to show that supporters can still shape the game when they organise, show up, and back clubs that put them first.
There will be a Q&A with our friends from The 1958 before the game – they’ll talk about what they’ve been up to and discuss the latest on what’s been going on with season ticket holders at Old Trafford. We’ll have classic footage on the screens in the ground throughout the day. We’re also encouraging you to dig out your retro MUFC and FCUM shirts and make Broadhurst Park a sea of United colours!
Whether you've been here since the summer of 2005, or you're simply fed up with what modern football has become and want to try something different on your Bank Holiday, this is your day.
