United face Liverpool

FC United will come up against fellow supporters’ run club AFC Liverpool for the first time in the round one of the youth team Open Cup on Sunday 14 September - the pick of the bunch of the under-18s’ opening fixtures.

The young Reds kick off their season on Sunday 31st August away at Salford City and then they have a three match head-to-head with Merseyside rivals. First they travel to Prescot Cables on 7th September, then the host AFC Liverpool in the cup and the following week the Reds will be back over the East Lancs Road to face Formby.

Here’s a rundown of United’s first month of fixtures in North West Youth Alliance:
31st August - Salford City v FC United
