Trials at The Manchester College Sports Academies
The Manchester College Sports Academies, which work in partnership with FC United, are holding trials for football, cricket and basketball in February 2011.
The college has an established a programme that allows students to pursue their chosen sport alongside their academic studies. The academies are designed to deliver training and coaching programmes by qualified coaches, such as FC United manager Karl Marginson, as well as provide opportunities for students to play fixtures and competitions within the British Colleges Sports competitions framework.
The academy programme is available to all 16-19 year old students from across the college provided that it does not detract from a student’s curriculum commitments. Students do not have to be already enrolled on a course at The Manchester College in order to take part in the trials.
All trials will be staged at Nicholls Community Football Centre of Excellence, M12 6BA and details of dates and times are below.
