Tom Stott RIP

We were saddened to hear of the passing of longstanding supporter and volunteer Tom Stott, who passed away last night after a short illness.

Tom was a familiar figure to most at the club, having been a supporter and member from the club’s formation in 2005.

Tom volunteered in a number of roles over the years, including working in the office overseeing membership, and organising away match coaches. However he will perhaps be best remembered for his work over many years on the club programme stall – where he curated a remarkable history of the club in print, going all the way back to the 2005/06 season. Tom also served as a member of the club board from 2013 to 2015.

There will be a minute’s applause in memory of Tom before kick-off when we host Rushall Olympic on Tuesday 21st October.

Any further details on a remembrance and celebration of Tom’s life will be shared only in line with his family, who have asked for time and space while they try to come to terms with their loss.

Rest In Peace, Tom
