Select your FC United 20th Anniversary Legends XI

With one month to go until FC United Legends take on Manchester United Legends at Broadhurst Park on Sunday 18th May, we’re asking you to vote for your all-time greatest FC United XI as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations. 

We’ve seen some amazing players pull on our sacred, sponsor-free shirts in our first 20 years, but who are your favourites? Who would be the first name on your team sheet? And who’s your cult hero?

More than 450 players have represented the club competitively, so there are plenty to choose from! To help ease your selection headache, we’ve shortlisted around 50 players for you. If we’ve missed out one of your favourites – just add them in. 

Obviously, our FC United Legends will play 4-4-2, get down the wings and attack, attack, attack! So, you’re invited to vote for the following: 
1 goalkeeper 
2 fullbacks 
2 centre-halves 
2 central midfielders 
2 wingers 
2 strikers   

It’s possible to select certain players twice in two different positions but that would be a really daft thing to do, so don’t do that. If you select those players, you’ll need to decide which is the best position for them. We've resisted the urge to shortlist Ben Deegan as a goalkeeper, but if you want to vote for him in net that's up to you.

Please note: you’re not voting to select the FCUM Legends team for Sunday 18th May, this isn’t Ebbsfleet, but your votes may give Margy a bit of guidance on who to pick!
