Rudy is a Red!

We are delighted to announce the signing of Rudy Misambo. The 30-year-old defender joins the club after leaving Farsley Celtic, with previous clubs including Lancaster City, Hednesford Town and Redditch United. Rudy signs on a contract through until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Manager Mark Beesley said: “We’re really pleased to get Rudy in - it’s a great signing for the club. He’s someone I identified a while ago as a key target, and he’ll give us that presence and leadership at the back. Rudy is going to really enhance the squad and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Rudy said: “I’m delighted to be joining FC United. I know what a big club this is, and the support is second to none. I can’t wait to get started, show the fans what I’m about, and play my part in getting the club to where it belongs.”

Rudy will be available for tomorrow’s game against Hebburn Town at Broadhurst Park.
