We have been informed by Witton Albion that the game has been postponed as there were no match officials available as at 5pm tonight. Witton Albion have taken the decision at this time rather than wait until Sunday Morning. They apologise for the inconvenience this decision causes and a new date will be announced as soon as it is known.
It is the responsibility of Cheshire FA to appoint match officials for their fixtures which are played at Cheshire FA headquarters rather than the Lancashire League. The date clashes with second round ties for the Cheshire FA Youth Cup and it would appear that as such ties takes priority over league games, all possible appointments are otherwise engaged.
