Remembering Ibrahima Seck

Everyone at FC United would like to offer their condolences to the family and friends of Ibrahima Seck who was killed on Sunday in New Moston

Everyone at FC United would like to offer their condolences to the family and friends of Ibrahima Seck who was killed on Sunday in New Moston.

Ibrahima’s parents have spoken of a ‘well-liked young boy’ who was ‘always smiley and made people laugh’, whilst his school headteacher talked of a ‘lively, intelligent and engaging young man’, with a ‘strong sense of social justice and a deep commitment to making the world a better place’.

Knife crime has no place in our communities, and the loss of Ibrahima is a heartbreaking example of the consequences of young people carrying knives.

The local community will be holding a walk this Sunday evening to take a stand against the scourge of knife crime, and the club would encourage anyone who supports the cause to take part. The meeting place is at The Fairway Inn (Nuthurst Road) at 5pm on Sunday 15th June.
