Read all about it...
There has been much discussion over the coverage afforded by local media to FC United’s plans for a ground in Moston. We have an interview with one of the main protagonists in Saturday’s programme, where he is asked to explain the behaviour of the Manchester Evening News.
Mike Keegan reveals all in an interview that pulls no punches and is perfectly timed in the aftermath of the latest bout of MEN coverage. Fair play to Mike for stepping up to the plate.
There are heartwarming stories about the great good that FC United is doing in communities that need help most, with Robin Pye explaining how Street League and the club are improving lives. There is also a piece on the link up between FC and The Manchester College, as well as an opportunity for any eligible teenagers to earn a place on the college’s trail-blazing football courses.
We also find out what FC United and American television’s Letterman Show have in common in a piece on the success story that is Course You Can Malcolm.
Margy tells us what he is doing about the team’s disciplinary issues and reveals how we found our new penalty taker.
The very latest ground news is revealed and we have another Meet the Owners with some lad called Matt or Mark or Malcolm and the usual news round up and match reports.
All for £2 to your club. A great read and anyone who argues is a wrong ’un.
Back issues are also available on Tom’s excellent programme stall, which is well worth a blimp on your way past.
After you’ve read the programme, pass it on to introduce someone else to FC United of Manchester. Leave it on a bus, put one in the doctor’s surgery or your local boozer. It is a great advertisement for the club.
Thanks as always
