Pre-Season Fixtures Announced!

Our campaign opener brings a strong test as League 2 side Barrow AFC visit Broadhurst Park on Saturday 8^th July. The fixture has been agreed as part of our new partnership with the Football League outfit who will be using FC United’s facilities as a training base during the season.

3 days later on Tuesday 11^th July, last year’s top marksman Regan Linney will be showing what he can do on FC territory once more, as he returns with Altrincham in what will be another tough encounter against full-time opposition.

Saturday 15^th July will see Clapton CFC join the likes of AFC Wimbledon and Enfield Town in hosting FCUM for a pre-season trip to the capital. The day will see a double-header as both the Men’s & Women’s Teams make their way to East London.

Next up will be newly promoted Warrington Town who will be visiting Moston on Tuesday 18^th July; giving the chance for Neil Reynolds and his team to get a measure of the level required for promotion from the Northern Premier League.

The games keep coming as we face two teams from the North West Counties. First up we make the 40-mile journey to Cheshire to face Winsford United on Saturday 22^nd July, followed by Longridge Town visiting north Manchester on Tuesday 25^th July.

Our pre-season campaign comes to a close with two away games; a return to Nuneaton Borough on Saturday 29^th July before travelling over The Pennines as we face Stocksbridge Park Steels for the first time in nearly a decade on Tuesday 1^st August.
