FC United have submitted video evidence as part of an appeal against Phil Power's sending off during the last home match of the season versus Great Harwood Town.
Phil was dismissed for violent conduct late on in a bad tempered game just minutes before United lifted the North West Counties Division Two trophy.
The referee’s decision clearly put a damper on what should have been a great day for Phil and the team, but now the club hope to go some way to rectifying it by having the red card rescinded.
The appeal will be heard by Manchester County FA on 28th June and the club will make an announcement shortly after this.
