Play Off Final - admission & travel information
PLAY OFF FINAL - Hednesford Town FC v FC United of Manchester, Saturday 11th May 2013, kick off 3:00pm.
This game is to be played at Hednesford Town FC, Keys Park Road, Hednesford, Cannock, Staffordshire, WS12 2DZ
This game is pay on the gate. Admission prices are as follows:
Adult Main Stand £10
Concessions Main Stand £6
Adult Terrace £9
Concessions Terrace £5
Segregation will be in force for this fixture. FC United supporters will occupy ‘The Hednesford End’ terrace and stand, adjacent side terrace in front of the Club Shop and an area of the large Wimblebury side Terrace.
Entry will be via turnstiles 1A, 1B, 2A & 2B. We urge supporters to arrive in good time to ease congestion at the turnstiles
Supporters wishing to stand should go in the side terrace to allow those supporters who want to sit down to do so behind the goal.
Refreshments
The bars at the ground will be open from 1pm to serve supporters before the match and again during the half time interval.
As the game is segregated, so are the bar facilities with FC United supporters having access to the Strikers Bar.
No alcohol or drinks are allowed to be taken from the bars onto the stands or terracing. No alcohol is allowed to be brought into the ground via the turnstile access (Ground Regulations).

By Car:
From the South - Leave the M6 at Junction 11 and follow the A460 towards Cannock. On reaching Longford Island, (McDonalds on right), take the right turn onto the A5 signposted Brownhills. Proceed along the A5, through the traffic lights and under the railway bridge to Churchbridge Island. Turn left onto the A460 signposted Rugeley and follow this road over five traffic islands. At the sixth traffic island by a ‘Texaco’ petrol station turn right past another McDonalds restaurant and follow this road to the next island which is ‘Cross Keys Island’. Go over this island to the next small island and turn right. Keys
Park football ground is on the left.
From the North and West - Leave the M6 at Junction 12 and follow the A5 signposted Cannock. On reaching Longford Island, (McDonalds on right), continue along the A5 towards Brownhills. From the East - From the A38 or M42 join the A5 and head towards Brownhills passing a restaurant called The Terrace on the left. Continue along A5
towards Cannock going straight over one large island. At the next island take the right exit signposted ‘Hednesford’ passing a large pub called ‘The Turf’ on the left. Follow this road until reaching an island, (Five Ways Island), take the second exit, the B4154, through Heath Hayes village and straight over a small island. On reaching the next island, ‘Cross Keys Island’, take the right turn signposted ‘Keys Park’. At the next island turn right and Keys Park football ground is on the left.
By Train:
London Midland services to Hednesford from the north run sporadically, so this is not the best form of transport on match days.
London Midland services from the south to Hednesford normally run from Birmingham New Street at twelve minutes past each hour, running to either Stafford, Rugeley, Trent Valley, normally from Platforms 1 or 2.
When arriving at Hednesford train station, come out of the station and walk back over the bridge, past Co-op and into the town. Follow the main road down through the town centre until you come to Woody’s Music Bar. Turn right here and follow the road up the hill, past the church, school field and Texaco garage on your left hand side. Continue on the same road, following it down the hill, where you will find the Cross Keys Pub on your right. There is also a cashpoint, chip shop and general store here. To continue to Keys Park, follow the road up to Cross Keys Island taking a left there. Take a right at the island further up the road, to arrive at Keys Park Stadium.
Walking time: 15 – 20 minutes
