Are you a young person aged 16-18 looking to learn some new skills, meet new people and do some volunteering that will look good on a university or job application?
FC United are starting 2 projects for young volunteers in the new year.
North Manchester Play Schemes
This project involves;
• Six training sessions lasting four hours each where you will learn some sports coaching skills and learn how to run arts and crafts activities for children. You will get a certificate for upon successful completion of these sessions. Sessions will mainly run on Sunday afternoons at Manchester Communications Academy on Rochdale Road, Manchester.
• Volunteering placements at play schemes during the February half-term at
o The Cheetwood Centre, Cheetham Hill
o Manchester Communications Academy
o New Moston Primary School
Bury Sports Coaching Project
This project involves;
• Training as a Sports Coach (You will get a Sports Leaders Day Certificate)
• Opportunities to assist our coaches in running after school clubs in Bury primary schools
• Opportunities to help run activities for children at People United Day in February
