There were 705 Pound for the Ground tickets sold at the Nuneaton league game last Wednesday night at Broadhurst Park, so after deducting the £250 prize money a very healthy £455 was raised for the FC United Development Fund. The £200 first prize was claimed during the game and the lucky winner, Carl Lowson, donated £100 back to the DF. Many thanks Carl and a Merry Christmas from everyone at the football club.
The winning ticket numbers were as follows: -
1028 - 1st prize of £200 (claimed)
0058 - 2nd prize of £50
1422 - 3rd prize of a fudge hamper
1081 - 4th prize of breakfast for two (claimed)
The barrel collection was an eye-watering £361, mainly due to £100 from the PFTG winner and £200 received from Tim (scarf) for swapping our Euros at a very healthy exchange rate. Good luck counting all those coins mate! A big thanks to all who contributed on the night.
All in all we raised a total of £816 for the DF at the Nuneaton game. That means that the running total for the season now stands at £15,991 raised for the Development Fund from home matches.
Don’t forget that the Pound for the Ground draw will be putting the spirit into Christmas at the Gloucester home game by adding eight extra prizes of bottles of whisky to the usual four prizes, making a bumper 12 prizes in all. So make sure you buy extra tickets this Saturday.
Also it will be the last barrel collection of the year so please remember to search out all that loose change and foreign stuff that you have been meaning to bring along.
Finally, a quick Christmas raffle update. Almost £1,500 has been returned but there are still 3,500 tickets out there, so please can supporters return the cash and stubs as early as possible to the office during office hours, the membership stall or the volunteers signing in desk at home games. There is only just over three weeks to the draw on 2 January 2016 at the Bradford Park Avenue home game.
