After the board’s call to arms regarding the club’s financial situation, the DF barrels for the Nuneaton FA Trophy game raised £1,245.95, a fantastic total that included a cheque for £100.
The previous six games, from Curzon Ashton to Nuneaton in the league, had raised a total of £689 between them, so this is a fantastic show of solidarity and support from all of those who came down to Broadhurst Park on that day.
We also had over €100 and $10 in notes donated alongside other assorted foreign coins and notes worth over £20.
The barrels have now raised a grand total of £10,275 since we moved into Broadhurst Park and we hope to continue the momentum started from the Nuneaton game into Boston this Saturday as we’d again ask everyone to bring any spare change they may have lying around to put into the barrels and help us get closer to our target.

The Pound for the Ground total for the day also raised a further £530 for the DF as well, bringing the total raised since moving into Broadhurst Park to £28,337. Tickets are available around and outside the ground before kick off for just a quid. Prizes are £200, £50 and a fudge hamper.
