Maine Road not on the 4th July
The non league paper has reported that the friendly match between FC United and Maine Road will take place at Gigg Lane on Saturday the 4th July.
This is incorrect and the match is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 4th August kick off 7:45pm at Maine Road’s ground. Information about this match will be available in due course.
