The Chippy
The Chippy in the north-east corner of our ground has been providing supporters with their match day chips for several years now, however due to an assessment of its match fitness, it has been put into football retirement which frees up a food kiosk spot at Broadhurst Park.
We're excited to announce that match days by the fans, for the fans will now include a number of new offerings throughout the season to take up the chippy spot, with the opportunity to provide a greater variety and a rotating calendar of options across the season.
For the Ilkeston game on Saturday 17th we're planning to have Mamma Chilli's making their debut, with a number of tasty dishes on offer such as: burritos, loaded fries and Mexican inspired flatbreads filled with delicious fillings. Chips will still be available to purchase at the ground. This will either be from the rotating offer in the chippy spot or elsewhere in the ground, which will be communicated in the match preview for each game.
SMRE
At the end of last season Bombay Away were trialled in the SMRE and their vibrant kebabs and curries and rice went down a storm. We're delighted this has become permanent and their delicious food will be on offer every game the SMRE is open.
Later opening hours for the Bar under the Main Stand
For this season the bar located under the main stand will be open until 15 minutes before full time. That means if you based in the Main Stand Paddock or the SMRE you have a convenient place for a second half top-up without having to travel up to the Main Bar.
