We're delighted to announce that our very own Nadim Hammad is taking on the 2026 London Marathon to raise money for the Development Fund and he needs your support!
FC United's Office Manager and all round good egg, Nadim, is aiming to complete the gruelling 26.2 miles on Sunday 26th April and you can donate now.
Nadim admits he's never really been a runner, but he's willing to take one for the team in order to raise much-needed money for our club.
He said: "Never in a million years did I think I’d get into running, never mind run a marathon, but I foolishly agreed to raise some extra cash for the Development Fund. Funny how life turns out!
"Fundraising has always been an integral part of what we do. On so many occasions, members have stepped up to bolster the club’s fundraising efforts.
"We’ve built a fantastic ground, that we want to develop further and maintain. If I can help in a small way with that, then it can only be a good thing."
