(Total raised as of 28th January = £22,013.13)
A massive thank you to everyone who’s chipped in to the Missing Matches campaign. Smashing through the £20,000 mark is no small feat, and it shows just how much this club means to all of us.
But we’re not there yet. To cover the shortfall caused by postponed matches and keep FC United moving forward, we need to hit our £30,000 target.
Why It Matters Now More Than Ever
The impact of those lost Saturday matches is still being felt. When games are rearranged to midweek, we lose out on thousands—from gate receipts to bar takings, food sales, pound for the ground, programmes and the club shop. These aren’t just numbers—they’re the lifeblood of the club.
Recent attendances at these rearranged games have been lower than we’d hoped, and we get why. Supporters are spent up, partied out, and the weather hasn’t been kind. With doubts about games being called off due to fog, it’s been a tough time for everyone.
That’s why every pound raised in this campaign matters—it’s about bridging the gap and protecting the club we’ve built together.
How You Can Help
As a fan-owned club, we’ve shown what we can achieve when we come together. To reach £30,000, we need one last collective effort. We know January is a tough month, and we deeply appreciate every single contribution made during this time.
Here’s how you can make a difference:
The FC United Spirit
This club isn’t backed by big money or wealthy owners—it’s powered by us. Every supporter, every volunteer, every co-owner. Together, we’ve built something unique.
Breaking through £20,000 shows what we can do. Now let’s finish what we’ve started. With your help, we’ll smash the £30,000 target and make sure FC United comes out of this winter stronger than ever.
Because that’s what FC United is about. It’s not just a club; it’s a movement, a family, and a beacon for what football should be.
Let’s prove—once again—that together, we’re unstoppable.
