Men's First Team Squad Update - 24th Jan

Ahead of tomorrow's trip to Matlock Town, manager Mark Beesley has made some changes to the first team squad.

Jordan Preston has now left the club and has rejoined former side Bradford Park Avenue. Jordan made 31 appearances this season, 18 of those off the bench, scoring three goals - most notably the late equaliser against Hyde United in the FA Cup back in August. Jordan goes with our thanks and our very best wishes for the future.

Coming in, we have two new signings in Dylan Mottley-Henry and Josh Miles.

Dylan Mottley-Henry joins on a dual registration from Chester. The 27-year-old forward is a former product of the Bradford City academy, going on to make 25 appearances for the first team at Valley Parade. He has a strong pedigree at Northern Premier League level, notably as a member of the South Shields side who gained promotion in 2022-23.

Josh Miles who joins from Blackpool on loan until the end of the season. The 19-year-old caught the eye of Blackpool as a triallist in the summer of 2023, signing a three-year deal at Bloomfield Road, and made his first team debut for the Tangerines in the EFL Trophy, shortly before his 18th birthday. Josh can play on both sides of the midfield. We'd like to thank Blackpool for entrusting us with the next stage of Josh's development.

Both Dylan and Josh have been registered and join the squad for tomorrow's league fixture against Matlock Town.
