Match preview for FC United's match against Bamber Bridge at Broadhurst Park tomorrow afternoon (3pm).
Jamie Milligan’s Bamber Bridge sit 19th in the Pitching In Northern Premier League, with one point separating Brig from Whitby Town who occupy the last relegation spot.
Striker Will Russ has scored four goals in five appearances since joining the club on loan from National League North side Southport. Russ scored Bamber Bridge’s only goal in a 2-1 defeat in their last outing against Workington in midweek.

“I was pleased with the performance (against Lancaster), the fact we were able to come away with the win in a close game was good to see, and to keep a clean sheet on top of that is a nice bonus."
FC will be looking to make up for the 4-0 defeat suffered at the SFC Stadium in the first meeting between the two side this season in October. Lucas Weaver, who scored a brace in that game, has since returned to parent club Altrincham.
The history between FC United and Bamber Bridge shows home comforts to be the biggest driver for success; in 14 total meetings, both sides have never lost to one another on home turf. FC have a near-perfect record at home against Brig, winning six out of seven total meetings dating back to the 2007/08 NPL Division One North campaign.
Last season, goals for Charlie Munro, Aaron Bennett and Lewis Gilboy helped the Red Rebels to a 3-0 victory over Bamber Bridge at Broadhurst Park in April.
