On Saturday 30th September FC United of Manchester make the trip to Borough Park to face Workington AFC in the Northern Premier League. Kick-off is 3pm.

The Two Teams

FC United will be looking for our first 3 points on the road this season as we head North to Workington. This will be our first trip to Borough Park since the title-winning 2014-15 season, when the fixture turned out to be a dead rubber end of season game, with the championship secured only days before. Currently in 14th place in the league table, our away form has to improve quickly if we are to move up towards the play off positions.

Workington AFC are enjoying life back in the NPL and sit just 2 points outside the top 5. With 15 goals scored in 5 home games so far and 12 points our of 15, it will be a tough test for Neil’s team as we look to get our away form up and running.
