MATCH ARRANGEMENTS: vs Chorley Women

On Tuesday 5^th September FC United Women make their first away trip of the season as they travel to Victory Park to face Chorley Women.

The two teams

Chorley FC Women were formed in 1983 and are one of the longest surviving women’s football clubs in the country. An 8^th place finish in the 2022-23 season saw them extend their run in the 4^th tier of the women’s game to 12 years and they’ll be looking to kick on this season and finish higher up the table.

FC United will be looking to build on a positive result on Sunday as they got their first point on the board by earning a 0-0 draw against Norton and Stockton Ancients. After promotion last year, this new level for the Reds has provided a tough start, but there is growing optimism that given time this group of players can be a match for anyone.

Getting to the ground

Chorley train and bus stations are a short ten-minute walk from the ground. There is limited parking at Victory Park but parking in the town centre is generally free after 5pm on Tuesdays.
